wildly joyous about today

The high loss toll in my life
that has taught me
the unpredictability of life and death and,
to value every living moment,
to honor the sweetness and
to respect the finiteness of life.

I no longer believe that important things
can wait to be said or done.
I am no longer sure about tomorrow,
but I am wildly joyous about today.
